SQL Server, VB, VBA, .NET, Gupta SQLBase, XP, Win 2000, database theory and practice are the key skills. Any Oracle, Access, Sybase, Access, MS Excel, familiarity with planning & estimation techniques, Microsoft Project or similar would be an advantage. The role itself covers the development and implementation of updates and new developments to the database component of the company’s systems – new and existing product range. This shall include tasks such as development and coding of SQL scripts and stored procedures, testing, validation and verification. This is a cracking opportunity for the right person!
